About the Program
The CTA Certification Training Program is three months long, with the first two weeks including live trainings designed as a four-session cohort experience to prepare participants to administer and debrief the Communication Tendencies Assessment with individuals, groups, and teams. The following two and a half months are self-paced, led, and trainer-supported time to administer and debrief the CTA with at least 4 individuals and 1 group to complete the certification. Grounded in Kantor’s Structural Dynamics framework, the CTA helps people better understand the communication patterns that shape interaction, dialogue, decision-making, and collaboration. This training takes a neutral and developmental approach: no communication tendency is better or worse than another. Instead, participants learn to recognize patterns, expand choice, and use communication more intentionally. This cohort combines concept review, discussion, applied practice, and reflection work between sessions. Following completion of the live sessions and between-session work, participants have three months to administer individual and group CTAs with guided coaching from CTA trainers as they complete the certification process. Upon successful completion, participants will be certified to administer and debrief the CTA in their own practice or with their own team.

Within 72 hours of enrollment, you will receive an invitation to complete your own CTA. After completing the assessment, a trainer will reach out to schedule a 1:1 CTA debrief before the training begins.
Also, within 72 hours of enrollment, you will receive calendar invitations with Zoom links to the four live sessions taking place July 8th, 9th, 15th, and 16th, from 9 am to 12 pm ET.
Materials for Session 1 will be released one week before the first session. Course materials will remain available throughout the live training and for the two and a half months of certification work following the final live session.
